IRLAND: SKA BLI FÖRST ATT “VINKA ADJÖ TILL IMF”

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Irland planerar för att bli det första landet i euroområdet som lämnar stödprogrammen. Irland planerar att försöka sälja statspapper på marknaden under 2012, och i sinom tid kommer landet också få sina kreditbetyg höjda.

Det sade Irlands premiärminister Enda Kenny i en intervju med Bloomberg TV.

“Av alla länder med problem leder Irland med att sätta exempel”, sade premiärministern, och tillade att Irland är positionerat för att bli först att “vinka adjö till IMF”.

Enligt Enda Kenny kan Irlands budgetunderskott för 2011 komma att underskrida målet på 10,6 procent av BNP, och för 2012 planeras nedskärningar för ytterligare 4 miljarder euro. Planen är att fortsätta att sänka underskottet till 3 procent av BNP till 2015.

Finansmarknaden har noterat den relativt positiva utvecklingen i Irland, den tioåriga statspappersräntan har sjunkit till omkring 7,70 procent från toppnoteringen 14,22 procent i juli.
