GLOBAL STÅLPROD +11,5% I JULI

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Den globala produktionen av råstål uppgick till 127 miljoner ton under juli, vilket var en uppgång med 11,5 procent jämfört med motsvarande månad året innan.

Det skriver World Steel Association i ett pressmeddelande på måndagen.

Kapacitetsutnyttjande hos producenterna inom WSA låg på 79,7 procent i juli, ned från 83,1 procent i juni. Jämfört med juli i fjol ökade kapacitetsutnyttjandet med 4,9 procentenheter.

Kinas produktion var 59,3 miljoner ton, upp 15,5 procent jämfört med juli 2010. I Japan sjönk produktionen med 1,2 procent till 9,1 miljoner ton.

USA producerade 7,5 miljoner ton, vilket var en ökning med 10,2 procent jämfört med för ett år sedan. Sydkoreas produktion steg med 21,7 procent till 5,7 miljoner ton.

Sverige beräknas ha producerat 270.000 ton, ned 3,7 procent jämfört med samma månad 2010.
