DUNN Capital lanserar UCITS-fond på ML Capitals MontLake-plattform

Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – DUNN Capital Management, den systematiska kvant-baserade CTA-fonden som grundades 1974 av doktor William Dunn (vilket gör den till branschens näst äldsta Managed Futures förvaltare), meddelade i veckan att de lanserar en s.k. newcits på ML Capitals MontLake UCITS-plattform. DUNN WMA UCITS Fund förväntas börja handla 1 juli, under förutsättning av myndighetsgodkännande.

Som med de flesta newcits kommer det att vara ett s.k. On-shore-version av Dunns flaggskepp World Monetary & Agriculture (WMA) Fund som sedan starten 1984 har levererat en årlig avkastning på 14,61%.

Marty Bergin, DUNN Capitals ordförande, sa att han var mycket nöjd med att kunna ge de europeiska investerarna tillgång till deras WMA-program och berömde ML Capital för sin expertis inom fondregelverk och distribution, ”något som har varit ovärderligt vid struktureringen av DUNN WMA UCITS Fund”. John Lowry, ML Capitals ordförande, tillade: “För närvarande är USA-baserade CTA-fonder inom UCITS-regelverket en bristvara och är mycket starkt efterfrågat, vilket framgår av vår senaste UCITS Barometer Market survey.” DUNN har för närvarande över 1 miljard USD i kapital under förvaltning.
