ZINK: UTBUDSÖVERSKOTT 50.700 TON I APRIL

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Det globala utbudet av zink uppgick till 1,07 miljoner ton i
april, medan den globala användningen uppgick till 1,02 miljoner ton. Det
innebar ett utbudsöverskott om 50.700 ton.

Det skriver International Lead and Zinc Study Group, ILZSG, i ett
pressmeddelande på onsdagen.

Under perioden januari till april steg produktionen med 3,9 procent jämfört med
samma period 2010, vilket i huvudsak hänvisas till ökningar i Kina, Indien och
Peru som motverkade nedgångar i Kanada och Japan.

Globala efterfrågan steg med 3,8 procent mellan januari och april, trots
nedgångar om 5,4 procent respektive 7,0 procent i USA respektive Japan.
Uppgången berodde i huvudsak på grund av stora ökningar i Kina och i Europa.
