Nektar expanderar med etablering i London – rekryterar två förvaltare

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Nektar – en av fonderna inom Brummer-sfären – expanderar sin verksamhet i och med rekryteringen av två seniora portföljförvaltare, Patrik Olsson och Ralf Seibel, bägge med lång och gedigen erfarenhet av räntehandel. Det skriver Brummer & Partners i ett pressmeddelande på sin hemsida.

Patrik Olsson kommer närmast från rollen som global räntechef och co-head of Emerging Markets på Unicredit Group. Innan dess hade han seniora positioner inom tradingverksamheten hos RBS, ABN Amro och Deutsche Bank. Ralf Seibel kommer från Credit Suisse i London där han senast haft rollen som seniortrader och positionstagare i ränteswappar och statsobligationer. Han har tidigare också arbetat på Barclay’s Capital, Salomon Brothers och JP Morgan.

Brummer & Partners framhåller i pressmeddelandet att ”rekryteringarna ska ses som ett ytterligare steg i Nektars strävan att gradvis expandera inom närliggande förvaltningsområden. Fondens inriktning är oförändrad men rekryteringarna innebär att Nektar tillförs värdefull expertkunskap och erfarenhet som kompletterar den befintliga förvaltnings-organisationen.”

De börjar arbeta på Nektar Asset Management i juni och kommer under hösten 2011 att flytta till London och under Patriks ledning etablera verksamheten vid Nektars planerade Londonkontor.
