Frank Monkam provides fixed income and FX research and strategy to the Alterio Research platform with a particular emphasis on Africa debt markets. Frank has spent his entire career covering global, emerging and frontier debt strategies, most previously on the global desk at PIMCO. He holds a BS in applied Mathematics from North Carolina A&T university and a graduate degree in finance from the University of Chicago. Frank is perfectly fluent in french and has an African heritage. He also possesses extensive local contacts and business experience in the middle-Africa region.
