Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Vontobel, an international investment manager with Swiss roots, is strengthening its presence in the Nordics with the appointment of Erik Norland as Country Sales Head. Norland will support the firm’s growing activities in the Nordics and Netherlands, succeeding Henrik Rox Hansen, who left Vontobel at the end of May after eight years in the role.

Norland joins Vontobel from V-Square Quantitative Management, where he served as Head of Distribution and Relationship Management for about three years. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Northern Trust, including as Head of Asset Management for the Nordic region. With his strong local client relationships and extensive knowledge of the regions, Norland will focus on developing and strengthening relationships with intermediary and institutional investors across the Nordics and in the Netherlands.

“We are pleased to welcome Erik to Vontobel. His established client network and successful track record in business development will be greatly additive to our team and demonstrates our dedication to Nordic and Dutch clients.”
