All Good Things Come to an End

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Laust Johnsen, Partner and Portfolio Manager at Capital Four, is leaving the Danish credit boutique after 16 years to pursue a new opportunity. “All good things must come to an end,” Johnsen announces on LinkedIn.

“After having spent more than 16 years with the team at Capital Four, I have resigned from my position as a Partner and Portfolio Manager to pursue a new opportunity outside Capital Four,” Johnsen (pictured center) writes on LinkedIn. “The past 16 years have been nothing short of amazing,” he continues. “From being a small team in a big organization, to being a start-up with a handful of employees in an empty office, to being an established credit asset manager with more than 100 employees globally, managing strategies across liquid credit, CLOs and private debt. I look back at this with pride and great memories.”

Johnsen joined Capital Four at its inception in 2007 from Nordea Investment Management, where he worked as a quantitative analyst focused on risk management and performance analysis. He has held various roles within Capital Four, first as a high-yield analyst then as head of trading, as well as interim chief operating officer overseeing the investment operations team, and most recently, as a portfolio manager on the investment committee.

“Now it is time for a new adventure. While I look forward to spending a good amount of time with my family in the next month, I certainly feel an energy and excitement thinking about what opportunities are ahead,” Johnsen writes on LinkedIn. “I have acquired a lot of great skills and experiences within asset management, leadership and investing and I look forward to continuing to apply and expand those competences.”
