Jupiter taps Magnus Jahnke as head of Nordics

Stocholm (HedgeNordic) – Jupiter Asset Management, the UK-based asset manager, has hired Magnus Jahnke (pictured) as Head of Nordics. In his new role, Jahnke will lead Jupiter´s efforts in the Nordic region and continue to develop the company´s Nordic presence.

Jahnke has 15 years experience in the financial sector, most recently holding the position as Head of Fund Selection and Portfolio Manager at Lancelot Asset Management in Stockholm. Prior to Lancelot, Jahnke worked as Product Manager within Nordea Asset Management – Alternatives and Manager Selection, being responsible for the external funds offered to private banking, Premium and Unit Link.

As Head of Nordics, Jahnke will continue to develop Jupiter’s client relations in the Nordics and further establish the asset manager´s local presence.

In a comment, Kevin Scott, Head of EMEA at Jupiter says: “We are very happy to welcome Magnus to Jupiter. With his industry experience and knowledge we are confident that we have found the right person for this position. We look forward to build on the strong start we have had in the Nordic region”.

Magnus Jahnke says: “I am really looking forward to become a part of Jupiter, a company with a strong reputation and business culture. We have interesting times ahead and I look forward to manage and develop Jupiter’s Nordic presence”.
