Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Brummer & Partners has appointed Henrik Paulsson (pictured) as new CEO. Henrik Paulsson has been working in the group since 2010. Among other roles, Henrik Paulsson was the CEO of Brummer & Partners’ wholly-owned subsidiary B & P Fund Services.

The outgoing CEO, Ola Paulsson resigns at his own request. Ola Paulsson had held the chief executive role of the group since mid-2017.

“Henrik has long experience and in-depth knowledge of our business,” Patrik Brummer, the founder and chairman of Brummer & Partners, comments on the appointment of Henrik Paulsson as the group’s CEO. “He will be able to step into the role quickly and is well acquainted with the task,” he adds. “We thank Ola for his great contributions over the last 18 years at Brummer & Partners, both as CEO and before that at other positions within the group,” Brummer comments on the departure of Ola Paulsson.

“Henrik has long experience and in-depth knowledge of our business. He will be able to step into the role quickly and is well acquainted with the task.”

“I’m happy for the vote of confidence and will meet the assignment with humility,” Henrik Paulsson comments on his appointment as the CEO of Brummer & Partners. Henrik Paulsson has been the CEO of Brummer & Partners’ B & P Fund Services for more than ten years. This wholly-owned subsidiary provides infrastructure and administrative services to the fund managers under the umbrella of Brummer & Partners. Henrik Paulsson joined the group in November 2010 as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

“I’m happy for the vote of confidence and will meet the assignment with humility.”

The management of Brummer & Partners has been further strengthened with the addition of Johanna Ahlgren as Executive Director and General Counsel. Ahlgren most recently served as the chief executive officer of Brummer & Partners-backed hedge fund firm Frost Asset Management, which closed down its Scandinavian-focused fixed-income relative value fund in late 2021. Ahlgren previously served as deputy chief executive officer of Nektar and worked as a corporate lawyer for both Nektar and Brummer & Partners.
