Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Rhenman & Partners have set the launch date for its new global long/short equity fund, Rhenman Global Opportunities L/S, to August 31.

The announcement of the launch date follows from a decision from Sweden’s financial supervisory authority, Finansinspektionen, to grant the fund marketing approval in Sweden, Rhenman writes.

Rhenman Global Opportnities will be managed by Staffan Knafve (pictured) who has close to 30 years experience from financial markets. Knafve’s previous roles include head of equities at Nordea Investment Management and Swedbank Robur.
