Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – QQM Fund Management, the manager of the systematic equity market neutral hedge fund QQM Equity Hedge, has engaged assistant professor Hanna Setterberg as academic advisor, the fund management company announced today.

Setterberg is currently performing research on the relationship between equity prices and accounting data at the Stockholm School of Economics.

In a comment, QQM’s portfolio manager Ola Björmo says: ”When managing the QQM Equity fund, we use quantitative decision making models that are based on established economic principles. An important part of managing the portfolio is to develop the underlying models further, we believe that Hanna will be an excellent advisor in this context.”
