Neuberger Berman lanserar absolutavkastande Multi-Strategi fond i UCITS format

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Neuberger Berman har lanserat Neuberger Berman Absolute Return Multi-Strategy Fund (ARMS) i UCITS format och följer därmed upp den amerikanskt reglerade versionen av samma strategi som lanserades i maj 2012.

Multi-manager produkten siktar på absolut avkastning med låg marknadsexponering genom diversifierade allokeringar till etablerade hedgefond-strategier. Samtidigt hanterar produkten de strukturella begränsningar som hedgefond-investeringar innebär genom att erbjuda produkten i ett kundvänligt UCITS-format.

Fondstrukturen erbjuder investerare möjligheten till daglig likviditet, inga prestationsbaserade avgifter, ett tak på totala fondavgifter, hög nivå på transparens och kontroll av tillgångar via exklusiv användning av så kallade managed accounts.

Fonden kommer förvaltas av Neuberger Berman’s alternativa investeringsteam.

Fred Ingham, assisterande portföljförvaltare till Neuberger Berman Absolute Return Multi-Strategy Fund säger: ”I den nuvarande miljön med låga räntor, långsiktiga inflationsrisker och osäkra aktievärderingar, kan hedgefonder erbjuda ett särskilt attraktivt alternativ med möjlighet att skapa avkastning från stigande räntor och ökad divergens mellan globala aktiemarknader”.

Dik van Lomwel, ansvarig för Neuberger Berman EMEA och LatAm säger: ” Vi ville erbjuda kunder en opportunistisk möjlighet att åter engagera sig i hedgefonder i en fondstruktur som adresserar historiska negativa aspekter som höga kostnader, brist på likviditet och begränsad transparens”.
