STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Schweiziska Julius Bär är nära ett köp av Merrill Lynchs internationella kapitalförvaltningsenheter.

Det skriver Bloomberg News med hänvisning till två anonyma källor med insyn i ärendet.

Verksamheterna uppges värderas till mellan 1,5-2,0 miljarder dollar och förvalta omkring 80 miljarder dollar.

Enligt Bloomberg News kan ett offentliggörande av affären ske redan den 13 augusti.

Bägge bolagen har avböjt att kommentera uppgifterna.
