EUR + CHF = SANT?

Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Som Hedgefonder.nu tidigare rapporterat om, fortsätter problemen för Schweiz på grund av dess starka valuta. Den senaste tidens turbulens på världens finansiella marknader har drivit upp kursen på den Schweiziska francen, vilket skapat huvudbry för centralbanken och för exportindustrin, som fått se sina exportvaror stiga kraftigt i pris jämfört med andra exportländer, på grund av växelkursförändringarna. Schweiz centralbank har tidigare deklarerat att man kan komma att agera för att ta ner värdet på den i deras ögon kraftigt övervärderade francen.

Det senaste utspelet i denna fråga är enligt SIX News den kommentar som Tysklands finansminister Wolfgang Schäuble gjorde, där han framhöll att Schweiz har problem och att situationen inte är bra för landet. Därför överväger Schweiz att knyta valutan till Euron, enligt den tyska finansministern.

Detta skulle förhindra de kraftfulla rörelser som vi sett på valutamarknaden den senaste tiden, då placerare flytt till valutor som anses vara s.k. ”safe havens” – däribland CHF.
