The global ETF market grew by almost 35% to US$417bn in 2005 according to Morgan Stanley. At the end of 2005, there were 453 ETFs with assets of US$416.8bn, compared with 336 ETFs and assets of US$310bn a year earlier. Assets grew at a much faster pace
