Nordic Hedge Award utsåg bästa nordiska hedgefond

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – För andra året i följd belönades på onsdagen de bästa nordiska hedgefondförvaltarna inom flera olika kategorier vid den så kallade Nordic Hedge Award ceremonin som arrangeras av HedgeNordic i Stockholm. Det övergripande priset för bästa nordiska hedgefond gick till Warren Short Term Trading från norska Warren Capital.

Warren Short Term Trading uppmärksammas framförallt för att ha levererat god riskjusterad avkastning i en miljö som varit mycket utmanande för CTA-strategier under senare tid. Under 2013 var fonden upp 11% med en historisk volatilitet som understigit 5%

På andra plats kom Manticore från Brummer & Partners som steg drygt 40% under året. Fondens fokus på bolag inom informationsteknologi, media och telekommunikation är sannolikt en stor förklaring till den starka utvecklingen då dessa branscher utvecklades mycket starkt under året.

På tredje plats kom Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S, fonden förvaltas av Rhenman & Partners och steg under 2013 hela 55%.
